RYDER: Wrapped up in a light fawn colored coat is a handsome, sweet, love muffin named Ryder. He would be perfectly content to be velcroed to your side...or just near you as your daily routine unfolds. Ryder gets along very well with his kennel brothers and sisters...however, he is not shy about letting us know that he truly prefers the human kind of companionship. When we were bringing him ‘home’ to our kennel, Ryder, was a bit tentative settling down in the car between two other greys that had already ‘camped out.’ So after 45 minutes of standing on the beginning leg of our long trip home, we padded up the console between the front seats. Ryder quickly understood and within a few minutes, his back end was resting just beyond the rear of the console...his chest was on the console...and his neck & head were resting on Mary’s lap. His contentment was palpable...his breathing rhythmic and deep. Ryder remained in that position until we arrived at the kennel...two and a half hours later! We do not believe that he will do well with cats...but we will officially determine this in the following days. Ryder would love to be in a home with very attentive adults, who would shower him with affection. He was born on January 1, 2007.
