Rolo is an extremely handsome, gentle, three and a half year old, brindle boy. He is our 'special needs' greyhound as we welcomed him into our kennel knowing, full well, that he experiences grand-mal seizures, periodically. Rolo is in very capable hands with us in that both of our respective families are the proud owners of females that have a history of seizures. We also keep in regular communication with Rolo's neurologist at Mass. Vet. Referral Hospital, Dr. Gena Silver...and with her help, we are able to manage and help Rolo when he does have seizure activity. Just as Rolo is an extremely special boy, it will take an incredibly special person/family to provide Rolo with the love and care that he needs and deserves. It would be most helpful if an adoptive individual or family had some knowledge and experience with seizures, in order to best provide for sweet Rolo's needs. Another important consideration would be that Rolo would be in a home where he would not be alone for extended periods of time. He loves human companionship...thrives on love and affection, and responds gratefully to the gentle touches of our canine masseuses. If you have an opening in your heart...and home for a precious, furry bundle of love...please let us know.
