PINOT: As in a fine pinot noir, Pinot has a wonderful body...and a velvety smooth black muzzle to accentuate his extremely handsome dark brindle coat. Running down his elegant sides are greyt ‘legs,’ too! Pinot has eyes that capture...drawing you in to a warm and gentle place. The first time we first saw him, his handsome face and expressive eyes pulled at our hearts. Then after we entered the pen, where several greys were socializing, Pinot immediately came over to greet us by leaning his sleek body into ours. He was quietly and eloquently giving us a message...and we heard him, loud and clear! He rode beautifully in the car, along with another greyhound, Travis. Neither of them made a sound...and seemed quite content to be in our company while soft classical music composed the background on our journey home. Since arriving, Pinot has adjusted well to his new, temporary kennel home...and just a few days ago he met two young girls who were visiting with their mom. He was enthralled with the girls...leaning into them as he had with us! It was quite evident that Pinot had managed to steal a few more hearts! His tail is very long...and often times is seen doing complete circles as he expresses his happiness. {Helicopter tail!} BTW, Pinot just experienced his first Meet & Greet...and he did magnificently in every respect! If he were getting graded...he earned an A++!! He would do well with children who are appropriate and respectful with animals. His ability to peacefully coexist with cats will be determined soon. Pinot was born on November 6th, 2009.
