| DAPHNE: Daphne came to us with the unfortunate label of ‘spook’…and was placed with us because of our special affinity for the ‘shy ones.’ We welcomed this beautiful black girl with open arms…and a heart full of love that was/is hers for the taking. From the very beginning, since in our care, she has made unbelievable eye contact and wonderful progress. Daphne no longer feels the need to ‘disappear’ and welcomes our presence, our caresses and gentle words. She has been socialized…and now loves to play, not only with her kennel-mates but with us as well… as her tail waves enthusiastically in appreciation. Daphne was born on November 27, 2005. She will do best in a quiet home… with another greyhound that is confident …and will require a totally fenced-in yard.
